Your group will love having their team building scavenger hunt in Canada’s capital city with its vibrant, historical and beautiful downtown area. Your group will be challenged to discover many popular tourist landmarks including Parliament, Chateau Laurier, The Byward Market, The Rideau Canal, Rideau Centre, many museums, historical sites and monuments and much more. Perhaps your group will be required to take a photo with a well-known Canadian politician!
Canada’s capital city is steeped in history and our program is a great way to learn about the birth of this great nation. This is a great year-round location for outdoor activities. Although it can be snowy in the wintertime, any group that has the proper outdoor clothing can enjoy this activity in the winter. Some people say that the city is at its most beautiful in the winter. Skaters weave along the Rideau Canal, Christmas lights abound and the snow creates a beautiful winter wonderland.
Here is a map showing the approximate boundaries of our Ottawa scavenger hunt. Note that although the hunt area looks large, teams won’t have to cover the whole area. The name of the game is to prioritize and follow the route that is most efficient, allowing the team to complete more tasks than the teams against which they are competing.
Here are some sample scavenger hunt tasks for Ottawa:
Take a photo of your team with the parliament buildings in the background.
Take a photo of your team at York Steps.
